GEOFFREY PALMER: Tishoo

Geoffrey Palmer started his career as a trainee ASM with the Q Theatre. He then played with various repertory companies and made his first London appearance in the highly successful Difference Of Opinion. Subsequently he has been seen in John Osbornes West Of Suez and Savages at the Royal Court, Victor in the revival of Private Lives, Snap, On Approval, Eden End at the National, and Warwick in Pros­pect’s production of Saint Joan at the Old Vic. His numerous television credits range from leading roles in plays; drama docu­mentaries such as Cathy Come Home and Who Sank theLusitania; popular series such as Angels, co-starred in Family Soli­citor, Sutherlands Law, Crown Court, The Professionals, Colditz. The Sweeney; comedy series—The Army Game, The Liver Birds, Fawlty Towers. The Fall And Rise Of Reginald Parrin; recent work in­cludes the three-part BBC TV serial Maidens Trip, The Scorpion Factor for ATV, Games for Yorkshire TV and he has just completed the second series of Butterflies. He was in the film 0 Lucky Man directed by Lindsay Anderson.
