For Your Consideration: Film studios advertise heavily in trade papers such as The Hollywood Reporter to promote their pictures for consideration at Oscar time. First, the push for nominations and then, for the Oscar itself. Although this newspaper is available locally and and probably at specialized newsstands across the country, enterprising eBay sellers snip the ads and offer them at auction.
