All The Family Acting Like Savages

Return
They may be Savage by name, but they're trying hard to be same by nature. Three generations of the Savage family are at the heart of this new comedy from Men Behaving Badly writer Simon Nye. Simon claims to have invented his appaling flat-share New Lads Gary and Tony from observing men who can't quite stop being boys. The Savages, on the other hand, is drawn from his own trials as a parent. Simon says: "When fans of Men Behaving Badly met me, they were disappointed to find that I look more like a tired geography teacher than a hard-drinking slacker." Adam, played by comedian Marcus Brigstock clings to his own childlike Eden by working from home as a cartoonist. Joining in the trials of raising two children is Adam's tavel agent wife Jessica (Victoria Hamilton) and his dad Donald (Geoffrey Palmer).
