1. FAIRBRACE - She was an employee at the store at which Jean was accused of shoplifting. The others were attendees at the party for the "old folks."

2. MARGARET - She was Lionel's ex-wife. The others were all employees of either the main or branch office of the Type for You Secretarial Agency.

3. PINK CADILLAC - It belonged to Madge. The other forms of transportation are all associated with Alistair.

4. GARY - he was Lionel's ex-wife's toy-boy. The others were all associated with Lionel's mini-series: Moses was the director, Josh was the man who was going to make changes to the script, Mike was the guy who represented the buyers.

5. TREVOR -- He was Sandy's boyfriend (the man who enjoyed rough treatment). The others all were associated with Alistair: Nails was an "associate" he hired to stop Sandy's stalker, Kong was a client he recruited to find Madge and Rocky on the wedding day and the non-existent Mercury was created by Alistair to make Judith jealous.

6. PSYCHIATRIST -- Jean lied and told Penny and Stephen that Lionel was a psychiatrist. The others are all labels which may appropriately describe Lionel.

7. DENISE - She was Lionel's Norwich "girlfriend." The others were all residents of Hampshire.

8. ELEPHANT KILLER --- The others were all original signs that were seen in the series. This one however was added to a sign that was advertising Lionel's speaking engagement in Norwich.

9. LOLLOP - It was a word that Lionel needed to complete his crossword puzzle. The others were associated with the Scrabble game that he and Jean played with Penny and Stephen.

10. CARTER - He was the former neighbor of Jean & Lionel's. The others were all doctors of some sort: Percival was the psychiatrist, Stoker was the G.P. in Hampshire and Stephen, of course, is a dentist.
