Fans of the gently acerbic sitcom that finally drew to a dose last week will surely enjoy this hour-long retrospective. Short inserts of Lionel (Geoffrey Palmer) and Jean (Judi Dench) discussing the past are interspersed with dips from the past nine series. Thus unfolds the tale of how two lovers separated by the Korean War were reunited some 40 years later. The superb comic timing of the two main actors is very much in evidence, as is their wonderful chemistry. Who says you have to be young and nubile to be in a successful sitcom? Certainly nobody watching this.
