Thanks so much to Meggie for sending these pictures. She wrote:

Today I got a letter from Hilary Colbert, with the Home Farm Trust, and she sent me the current HFT newsletter, and two pictures of the shoes that Judi donated to the trust for the "Sale of the Millennium" auction on June 11. These are the shoes which Judi wore to *last year's* Academy Awards, the ones that hurt so much, and which she refers to in several articles on your site. This auction, in aid of the Home Farm Trust, is selling things that people will be "happy to go into the 21st Century without." Since Judi definitely doesn't want to wear these shoes again, they fit the designation perfectly!
Hilary describes the shoes: The photograph really does not do the shoes justice; they are grey silk with a single diamante clasp in the centre of the very fine strap. They are absolutely tiny! In case any of the Internet fans would like to bid for the shoes, they will be going "under the hammer" on Friday, 11th of June, at Harrowden Hall.
