Make that Dame Judi Dench. This much admired actress, named a Dame Commander of the British Empire in 1987, was onscreen for only eight minutes in Shakespeare in Love (playing Queen Elizabeth), but it was enough to snare her first Oscar. At 65, her past roles have included Ophelia, Lady Macbeth -- and M, James Bond's boss in Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies, and The World is Not Enough.
