Shepherd's Pie

Yes, it's the classic Shepherd's Pie. Next to Macaroni and Cheese, perhapsthe greatest comfort food there is. It's also a dish you'd have to be more than half-drunk to screw up, so it's good for first dates, visiting parents and nervous cooks. A fine dish with your average beer and some bread to mop up the plate.

Brown hamburger with onion. Add flour, salt and pepper; mix well. Add broth. Cook several minutes until slightly thickened. Add carrots and celery and put mixture into 9x12 casserole. Top with mashed potatoes. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. ng side the regular infantry men.
